THE VISION OF THE FOUNDRY CHURCH IS SIMPLE:
Our vision is to follow Jesus and love broken people back to life.
THESE ARE OUR VALUES:
JESUS IS OUR MESSAGE
We see every day as an opportunity to point people to Jesus.
Grace is our overflow
We are all about forgiveness. Everyone makes mistakes, no one is perfect.
BIG FAITH IS OUR STARTING POINT
We dream big and often end up at the ridiculous.
BEING REAL IS OUR WAY
We are honest about where we are at, it’s ok not to be ok.
GENEROSITY IS OUR DEFAULT
We are generous with our lives – we can’t out-give God!
Serving IS OUR PRIVILEGE
We get stuck in, we play our part, we share the load.
BELONGING IS OUR CHOICE
We choose to show up and plug in - that’s how we engage and grow.
HERE'S HOW WE ARE MAKING THIS HAPPEN:
The first thing in the life of a follower of Jesus is that you have to KNOW God; not just about Him, but know Him. We know Him by revelation; God revealing Himself to us through Jesus. Our belief and experience here at the Foundry Church is that Jesus finds us; we were lost, now we are found. That’s the good news; that’s the gospel.
It is our amazing privilege to partner with God to introduce other people to God, so that they may also know Him. We do this in many ways but primarily through our weekend services, which are designed to lead people to God. Our music, our style, our teaching and our values are all geared towards leading people to know God more.
Knowing God isn’t enough; we need to GROW with God. There is more to following Jesus than turning up to a weekend service. We are all called to grow in our journey of faith; to become more like Christ.
We grow best by connecting in small groups where we get to open up, be real and unpack our faith. In small group connection, people see the real us, and growth takes place. We also grow daily through prayer, reading the Bible and leading ourselves to grow in our faith.
As followers of Jesus, we have been called to Go; Go and make disciples (Matthew 28:10). We Go and serve, we Go and make a difference, we Go and serve the nations. As James says ‘Faith without ACTION is dead’. (James 2:17)
As a church we are a member of the Evangelical Alliance, and our beliefs are in line with their statement of faith.
