Who are we?
Community Café is run by The Foundry Church, thanks to funding from our partners listed below. The café is staffed mainly by volunteers who are learning skills to prepare them to get back to work. Every Thursday the volunteers attend the CAP Job Club which provides the training and support they need.
Why community Café?
Whoever you are, regardless of your circumstances, we accept you as you are and you will always receive a friendly welcome. We serve high quality food at exceptional value, combined with friendly service, a listening ear and opportunities to build relationships.
What do we serve?
From heavenly cakes, homemade soups or panini's, tasty meals for kids or the delicious special of the day, we are confident that you will find something nutritious to tickle your taste buds. We offer gluten and dairy free alternatives (although these ingredients are present in our kitchen). We aim to provide you with an appetising lunch or snack to meet your dietary requirements.
Our Concourse Cafe runs from 5 - 7:30pm and runs alongside our Friday night Kids and Youth program. You can find more information on these programs here: Foundry Kidz and FDY. The purpose of the cafe is to help make Friday nights work that little bit easier so why not book in for some food today. (Please note that bookings for a Friday night must be made by 11:45pm on the Wednesday before).
