Singleness is a gift, but it doesn’t always feel like it. Marriage is a gift, but it doesn’t always feel like it.
That’s especially true for those who’ve been widowed, divorced or experienced a break-up.
But for the Christian, even those seasons of heartbreak can be an opportunity to draw even closer to Jesus.
Paul’s says in 1 Corinthians 7:35 that being single is a great opportunity to be able to live a life of undivided attention to God.
Just like summer brings the opportunity for BBQs, picnics and beach days, being single can bring about opportunities that we wouldn’t get in any other season of life.
So if you’re in a season of singleness right now, for whatever reason that might be, can I encourage you to draw close to Jesus and step into all the opportunities that God has placed before you.
